Our overall objective in the U10s is to have as much fun as possible. We aim to coach the players to maximise their individual technical skills whatever their ability, and to develop a passing game for the teams. We want to provide the players with a love of football which will encourage them to play through into adulthood.

Bath City Youth have run an Under 9s side for many years. Three quarters of the current squad joined as U7s when they began their footballing career. It’s been good to welcome new players this season.
Last season both the first team and the colts were very competitive, aspiring to play attractive passing football. We entered two teams in six tournaments in the spring, which was great fun. We were winners of the Warminster Highbury Tournament.
Raring to get going again!!

This is an important year for the development of young players and we are looking to continue to develop ball skills, passing and positioning, as well as scoring lots and lots of goals. The overall standard of ability of the squad is good and we have a number of talented youngsters.
